Niyama is the second limb of Patanjali Yoga Sutra and it is about the relationship with ourselves.
There are as well five points to be followed:
1. Sauca: Purity/ cleanliness Outer (body hygiene) and inner Cleanliness (purifying your mind with pranayama breathing practice)
2. Samtosa: contentment Surrender to the present situation and learn from failures rather than complain about them. Don't compare yourself with others.
3. Tapas: austerity Practice of Asanas, mindful eating and mindfulness in the head. "Burn" all toxins in the body through practice.
4. Svdhyaya: Self-Study Self-reflection of behavior and thoughts
5. Ishvara pranidhana: surrender to god Knowing and trusting you've done your very best and the rest is up to god
